Holding Yuki, our three month old puppy. Don't hate dogs.

Do Muslims Hate Dogs and Love Cats?

Kinda, and they may force you to abandon your dog.

Islam doesn’t promote hate towards dogs, but…

Dogs are considered unclean. Keep them outside and have a purpose for them beyond being cute. This is seen as both spiritual and cultural guidance for Muslims.

Canine hate may originate from Rabies outbreaks in ancient Arabia among stray dogs. An understandable concern, especially for Australians.

This disgust has been renewed in a few places.

In Iran for example, dog walking is banned in many cities due to Shia Islam. Prior to the Iranian revolution in the late 70s, people there had the freedom to enjoy dogs as pets. Despite their religion, many enjoyed canine company until the righteous took over.

Dog ownership continues, but it is much subdued.

Perhaps with an overthrow of their tyrannical government Muslims can stop dog hate, setting an example for the rest of the Middle East—a Canine Spring.

Cats, on the other hand, need no rescue. They get royal treatment as the best possible pet for a typical Muslim. Unlike with dogs, a feline’s existence is purpose enough.

Cat love in Morocco causes sleepless nights.

A cacophony of feral cat yowling ruins Casablanca‘s romance. A wonderful movie, but the city of Casa needs a round of spaying. Love for cats doesn’t mean they should be allowed to run wild across cities.

Coyotes can help keep the cat population down. Better for everyone who loves cats to keep them indoors… with the possible exception of mousers.

Ladies love cats and hate Trump.

Trump is the first President in a century to not have a pet. Regardless, he supports pet ownership, even for the Karens.

If Islam’s practiced privately, then it doesn’t matter if they hate dogs.

The problem comes when Muslims force their culture and rules on others.

Islam isn’t alone in colonizing through immigration. Any expansionist religion or culture does the same. Muslims are in the spotlight because they have been so successful at it throughout the Western World.

High trust societies have a tendency to be naive. Low trust societies have a tendency to take advantage of naivety.

Dogs trust. Cats prey.

Muslims can hate dogs. What Muslims can’t do is come to America and force people to get rid of dogs any more than the current incarnation of PETA can in Oregon.

America loves freedom, guns, and dogs. Any religion or culture that challenges this will lose.

A tale of two contrasting moods: quiet prayer and ready trust.
